March 2015 US Employment numbers are out

US Bureau of labor Statistics has released March 2015 employment numbers.

Lets analyze the numbers to make sens of it.

From this report we can see that there was no change in unemployment rate, despite analysts expecting a slight drop.

The number of jobs created went up by 126,000. That is far below what the analysts were expecting, their prediction was 248,000. The reason the unemployment rate did not change, despite number of jobs created went up is because January and February numbers have been revised down, lowering jobs created in these months by 69,000.

Participation rate went down again by .1%, meaning that lower percent of population is working. This can be caused by many things, like people giving up looking for jobs, but most likely this is caused by US population aging and more people are retiring.

Wage growth went up by 2.1%, this is a good thing, people making more money will allow people to spend more, which will create more jobs in the future.
